SIBF 2019 is a platform which gathers local and international stakeholders from the oil palm and timber sectors (investors, local and regional entrepreneurs, academia, policy makers, NGOs, and other supporting government agencies) to network and share their experience and knowledge in this sector. It will bring together prominent local and international experts on the bio based and biomass value chain.

The key objective of this event is to accelerate the integration of Sabah biomass industry players into the overall biomass supply chain and become a global player through international partnerships and collaboration to move the agenda of the biomass forward. Sabah as a state in Malaysia is fortunate to have an abundant of biomass feedstock and natural resources, thus it has the potential to become a strategic location in the overall value chain and will open doors to biomass based investments in the region.
